| | Project Pawprint's purpose is to establish a communication network of regional county animal organizations. By connecting shelters together electronically, we can alert a wider audience of potential adopters to endangered animals in our shelters. The ultimate goal is to inform more people (organizations and individuals alike) of animals available for adoption in the area. By creating a very simple and intuitive software system, Project Pawprint makes it easy for shelters to keep their listings up-to-date. Additionally, if a shelter does not have a website, LifeLine Animal Project will host their site at no charge. LifeLine's server will also automatically update the shelter's website whenever new listings are posted to our Adoptable Animals database. |
Project Pawprint relies primarily on volunteers to post listings from the shelters. If you are interested in volunteering for this important work, email our volunteer coordinator at dsetzer@atlantapets.org, or fill out our on-line volunteer application. If your shelter is interested in joining Project Pawprint, email info@atlantapets.org.
